At ArtForm Pilates & BodyCode Studio mind-body, low impact Pilates and BodyCode group classes are deigned to provide you with a safe yet highly effective way to strengthen, stretch and streamline your body and improve performance in your daily life. Our specialized classes combine movements and maximize results through Pilates, BodyCode, Yoga, and Nia. Each method is designed to reduce stress, improve physical fitness for everyone from beginners to athletes.

Quite simply, Pilates is for everyone. In a very short period of time you will start to feel and see the results from low impact Pilates. From teens to seniors, we have a class that can improve the quality of your life and well being. In addition ArtForm Pilates & BodyCode Studio low impact classes can compliment post rehabilitation therapy.

 

Pilates Mat

Pilates mat classes guide you through exercises that encourage proper breathing, enhance stretching and mobility, and promote body awareness through efficient movements. Based upon methodology created by Joseph Pilates, each class offers exercises to strengthen your core by using resistance training in conjunction with the stretching and lengthening of each limb. Pilates mat classes use a variety of props/tools to add to the internal work created through full body participation. ArtForm Pilates & BodyCode Studio clients will reinforce a foundation of Pilates basics, experience challenging movement patterns, and build both balance and coordination.

BodyCode

Elvis from BodyCode System promotes body awareness and fluidity within the joints and limbs, therefore encouraging proper balance, control, and posture. Use of Elvis greatly enhances abdominal strength while simultaneously providing lower back stabilization, which is ideal for those experiencing pain or pressure. Masterstretch from BodyCode System aims to lengthen and strengthen muscles and tendons through a series of stretches and fluid movements. This aerobic and anaerobic exercise improves leg circulation, postural stabilization, and provides gluteus and abdominal strengthening.

Cardio Pilates

Cardio Pilates combines traditional Pilates exercises with upbeat transitions and movement patterns. This program at ArtForm Pilates & BodyCode Studio intends on keeping the heart rate up and the body in constant motion. A ball, resistance band, and hand weights are used to provide strength training, stretching, and various aerobic movements. ArtForm Pilates & BodyCode Studio clients will be challenged to create openness and fluidity within each and every extension and flexion of the spine. The core will be pushed through a series of abdominal and back exercises.

Pilates & Yoga Fusion

Candlelight Pilates & Yoga Fusion incorporates tranquility within a fusion of Pilates and Yoga movements. This class, lit by soft candlelight, will guide you through an array of exercises to promote a sense of calm centeredness and full body awareness. Some various benefits include increased flexibility, detoxification of muscles/joints/organs, and muscle toning. Pilates and Yoga are harmoniously joined to create this meditative mind-body experience.
